“Over the years I’ve been hearing this wonderful instrument in the background of many soundtracks & film scores, most notably in the soundtrack for the infamous “The Crow”, starring the late Brandon Lee. After much searching & research I was able find out much about the elusive instrument, but sadly, wasn’t able to track anyone down who played it locally. After much frustration with trying to find a synthesized method to reproduce the instrument for compositions, I decided to get my hands on a Duduk, hoping that even if I couldn’t Play it, I’d at least get a better understanding of it’s functions as an instrument for composition.”
