The “INFINITY” Soundtrack

INFINITY Album

With “Silent Echoes” release late 2007, I set about to work on the material which i had not included on that release, to form up my next solo album. Unfortunately though the various bits and pieces didn’t match up, and i felt myself just going through the motions of putting together an album with left overs, as opposed to having a strong idea and concepts, backed up with music that relfected that.

So i put my solo career on hold and got involved with the infamous “INFINIT” project, which was a stage show put together by EX & current AUC students. The project was hailed as a multimedia experience in seven colors, was based around many spiritual motifs and ideals, and was more or less the kind of thing i couldn’t resist getting involved with. Generally speaking the project didn’t turn out how i’d hoped, and generally the soundtrack reflects that.

The music is an interesting mix of ethnic, electronic, and atmospheric music, mixing middle eastern with asian & persian concepts. Overall I walked away a stronger musician i think from the project, despite being somewhat disheartened with doing score work. That said i don’t think you’ll be seeing any more soundtrack releases from me in th near future, unless Hans Zimmer decides to give me a call…..
