In the fall of 2009, Dreamfullofzen released his second solo album, “Failure To Adjust”.
“F.T.A” Was a departure from the big soundscapes & extended guitar solos from his debut demo album, and was more somber, melancholic, and more about the songwriting.
The albums overall tone was to create a warmer organic sound, and not have the guitar be the central aspect of the compositions, but serve a more vocal and textural role.
Complimenting this, is the Armenian Duduk, on tracks “Mirage” and “Why?”. A beautiful woodwind instrument which has been featured in many soundtrack recordings and is has also appeared on many hit artists songs, such as Sting.
For those interested DFZ used ESP guitars, Godin Guitars, Dean Markley Strings, Native Instruments Guitar Rig & Rig Kontrol 3, Mackie Onyx Satelite, Rhodes & AKG mics, and a bunch of other crap…
DFZ would like to thank the following for their amazing work and the fact that they made their work available for free: Ardaz, Poulin, Voxengo.
